Rising 66 metres above the summit of Mount Vodno, the Millennium Cross is one of Skopje’s most recognizable landmarks. Built in 2002 to commemorate 2,000 years of Christianity, it stands at an elevation of 1,066 metres and can be seen from much of the city. The summit offers sweeping views across Skopje, the Vardar Valley and the surrounding mountains, making it especially rewarding on a clear day or around sunset.
